Okay, no, this is not a Spice Girls "Girl Power!!!" page, it's an "I'm ever so proud to be a Girl-Power!!!" page. Okay? K. I think the only thing I'd rather be than a girl, is one of these girls. So be proud, keep your head up high, don't take any crap, and, well, Girl Power!!!
Okay, okay, so maybe this is a little a Spice Girls Girl Power (!!!) page. How could you do one without them? I think that they're amazing. I mean, they're not incredible singers, and they don't play instruments, they're not inceredibly uniform and they're definately not prim and proper. But because of amazing amounts of Girl Power, the Spice Girls have become rich, and famous, and they are definately roll models. Although many people don't like the Spice Girls, many more do. I think, and so do lots of others, that the Spice Girls have lots of Girl Power!!!
Eleanor Roosevelt was quoted as saying "You get more joy out of the giving to others, and should put a good deal of thought into the happiness you are able to give." I don't think anyone could say Mrs. Roosevelt didn't have Girl Power. She was an admirable first lady, she even had her own syndicated newspaper column. I'm proud to live in the same country as she did.
If you've never read Little Women, you need to visit the library. The movie doesn't count. Read the book. Ms. Alcott wrote many others, too, however, that you should read. She wrote over thirty books in her life time. Little Women was the first book for girls with real heroines, rather than stereotypical "perfect" girls. Louisa knew Girl Power!!!
Yes, I will add more Girl Power!!! women, so look back!
